About Kenneth D. Lancin
A native of New Jersey, Ken graduated from Arts High School in Newark and Manhattan School of Music before serving with the National Guard during the Vietnam War. Ken owned and operated several health food stores and restaurants, including the Pine Lake Inn in Washington Township and Juniper Berries in New Milford. Always eager to learn more, Ken studied to become a chef to best serve the needs of his restaurants. He eventually became interested in medical office management, which led him to be the Office Manager at the Institute of Neurological Care in Englewood Cliffs. Ken passed away too soon in May of 2016. At his core, Ken was a man who loved life and saw the best in everyone around him. He had incredible courage in the face of all adversity. Besides being a calming voice, he was an extraordinary singer and greatly enjoyed classical music and opera, singing in operas across the country as a Primor Tenor. Throughout his life, he never stopped singing. Above all else, he was the love of Nancy’s life and they remain soulmates.
