Andy Bell
Andrew “Andy” Bell is executive director of the AMA Foundation, where he leads the organization’s mission, strategy, and philanthropic growth.
Andy brings more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience across philanthropy, public health, and community revitalization. Prior to joining the AMA Foundation, he served in senior leadership roles at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Ascension St. Vincent’s Foundation, and Renew Birmingham. Raised in Montgomery, Alabama, Bell earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in business from Birmingham-Southern College and is passionate about mission-driven work that improves health outcomes and strengthens communities.
