Donna Bilhorn serves as Director of Advancement at the AMA Foundation, bringing more than 20 years of experience building strategic partnerships to mobilize transformational investments and drive mission-focused growth. She oversees development, marketing and communications at the AMA Foundation, championing physician-led innovation and leadership, advancing public health and partnering with communities to improve the nation’s health.
Prior to joining the AMA Foundation, Donna held leadership roles at Start Early, where she led national corporate and private foundation partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, leading brands and institutional supporters to drive support for the organization.
Earlier in her career, Donna held program and management consulting positions at the World Wildlife Fund and Booz Allen Hamilton. She also served as a corporate and foundation partnerships leader at the Global FoodBanking Network, advocating for community-led food banks worldwide to alleviate global hunger.
Donna currently serves as a board member for The Balance Project. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University.
