Jacqueline L. Nguyen, JD

Jacqueline L. Nguyen is an attorney and health care advocate in Las Vegas, barred in California, Texas and Nevada, with a focus on transactional law. She serves as policy director for the Nevada State Medical Association and became the first Nevadan and first Southeast Asian to lead the AMA Alliance in its 100-year history. Active in the alliance since 2005, she was appointed in 2023 as liaison to the AMA Foundation Board and now serves as an elected board member.

Nguyen is deeply engaged in community leadership, holding roles with organizations including Touro Medical School, Nevada MEDPAC, the American Medical Association Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Nevada Physician Wellness Coalition, and the Clark County Medical Society Alliance. She has also served with the Springs Preserve, Indian Chamber of Commerce, and Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada. A passionate advocate for nonprofit growth and legislative issues, she managed the campaign of former Nevada state senator and Boulder City Mayor Dr. Joe Hardy and holds certificates in nonprofit management and fundraising.

She and her husband, Dr. Michael Lee, a hand surgeon with Desert Orthopaedic Center, have three children.
