Racheal Kunesh
Racheal Kunesh earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
She has been an active Alliance member at all levels since 1994, most recently serving as president of the AMA Alliance for 2023-24. Kunesh has served on boards and committees for the Cabarrus Public Health Interest, North Carolina Physician Health Program, Community Free Clinic, CMC Northeast Hospital Foundation and multiple booster organizations in support of her children. Kunesh’s husband, Ben, is an internal medicine physician with Duke Health at Lake Norman.
She has worked in process and product development for 3M and Transcontinental and is currently employed as a product development engineer with Celgard, a manufacturer of separators used in lithium-ion batteries.
