Siobhan Wescott, MD, MPH
Dr. Siobhan Wescott is an endowed professor of American Indian Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Wescott brings extensive AMA leadership experience to the AMA Foundation, including 8+ years as the Association of American Indian Physicians representative, serving on the Minority Affairs Section (MAS) Governing Council, two terms as MAS chair, two terms on the AMA Ambassadors Advisory Council and one of 10 physicians serving on the 2017 AMA Task Force on Health Equity.
Dr. Wescott, an Athabascan from Fairbanks, Alaska, has decades of experience applying public health principles to improve the health of American Indians and has a strong interest in increasing the number of Indigenous and other underrepresented physicians.
