Meet our 2026 Physicians of Tomorrow Scholarship Recipients
The American Medical Association Foundation is proud to announce the 2026 Physicians of Tomorrow scholarship recipients. This year, 66 exceptional medical students from across the country were selected to receive $10,000 scholarships as they begin their final year of medical school this fall.
Since 1950, the AMA Foundation has provided millions of dollars in scholarship support to help future physicians overcome financial barriers to medical education. What began with grassroots fundraising and low-interest student loans has grown into a flagship program that reflects the AMA Foundation’s commitment to advancing medical education and supporting the next generation of physician leaders.
We extend our sincere thanks to the United Health Foundation for funding 10 scholarships this year through its Health Care Scholars United program. By providing scholarships and support to current and aspiring health care professionals, the program aims to build the workforce of the future and help improve health care access, experiences and outcomes for all.
