The AMA Foundation is proud to support the 2026 JAMA Summit on Obesity; a convening of leading experts focused on advancing care for obesity and metabolic disorders.
Held in May 2026, the JAMA Summit brought together thought leaders across sectors to explore key challenges and opportunities in treatment, with a focus on identifying actionable steps for the next 1–2 years. The discussions will help inform a forthcoming JAMA Summit Report and related research aimed at advancing the future of obesity care.
This effort aligns with the AMA Foundation’s role as a convener, bringing together physicians and communities to improve the nation’s health. We look forward to sharing insights and outcomes from this work in the months ahead.
