Craig Johnson
Craig W. Johnson is the AMA Foundation’s Senior Program Officer. He is responsible for the management and strategic direction of the foundation’s portfolio of charitable initiatives. These include several grants, scholarships, and awards, as well as a leadership program for medical trainees and a national LGBTQ health program.
Before joining the foundation, Johnson managed two physician constituency groups at the AMA. He's also held positions at Rush University Medical Center, American Bar Association, University of Chicago, and George Washington University. He has served as an officer or other volunteer leadership roles with several advisory groups and nonprofit boards, including his alma mater, Antioch College.
