Ilse R. Levin, DO, MPH & TM

Dr. Ilse Levin is a board-certified internist and epidemiologist based in Maryland. Elected to the AMA Board of Trustees in 2020 and re-elected in 2024, she is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and has held leadership roles in multiple AMA delegations. Dr. Levin has served on the AMA Council on Science and Public Health and represented the AMA to the CDC and AAAS. She serves on the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare Board and the American Society of Addiction Medicine Board.

A graduate of Boston University and Western University of Health Sciences, Dr. Levin also earned an MPH from James Cook University in Australia. She began her career in correctional medicine and currently practices with the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group. She resides in Maryland with her husband, Dr. Seth Flagg, and their two children.
